Hexi Flower

The Hexi Flower Quilt was a complete learning process. It took time a patience cutting each piece and having to layout several rows at a time to ensure a perfect layout. There is something elegant when using colors of black, grey, and white together.

The pattern is a simple hexagon formation utilizing an AccuQuilt Half Hexagon die 4 1/2 inch sides. I included a 3 inch border. The fabric is Alli K "Illustrations" with some grey scraps from my stash. The backing is Brush Stroke Grey cotton fabric with Quilters Dream 100% Cotton Deluxe batting. The quilt design is "Signed Sealed Delivered" edge to edge from Urban Elementz. The Hexi Flower Quilt measures 66" x 86"

The thread is Grey 40 wt Glide thread. It gives a nice texture and finish to the quilting design.
