Made with Love

I was recently contacted by a new client that asked me to quilt this piece of art that originated from her grandmother who has since passed on. She has had the quilt for a few years and desired to have it finished. The customer requested the Bossa Nova design by Natalie Gorman purchased from Urban Elements. I used Glide 40wt white thread.

The following is a write up is from my client; Digging through my cedar chest I found a quilt that my grandmother had completed years ago (she has been with our heavenly father since 1992), my mom had added some finishing touches and gave it to me almost 2 years ago. I started looking for a quilter and found Laura @ Nona's Niche. Laura & I have connected and her love of the art of quilting and of honoring the memory quilts is amazing. She kept me up dated the entire time and ensured I was completely satisfied. She is amazing a nd her talent, skills and love of helping others is evident. I have not only found a great artisan but am blessed to find a new friend. Thank you!
